32feet.NET v3.2 - Personal Area Networking for .NET Build 3.2.0609.0 9th June 2011 This library provides a .NET networking API for devices and desktop computers running the Microsoft or Broadcom/Widcomm Bluetooth stacks, Microsoft Windows supported IrDA devices and associated Object Exchange (OBEX) services for both these mediums. Online documentation is integrated into your Visual Studio help. The object model has been designed to promote consistency between Bluetooth, IrDA and traditional TCP/IP networking. We have support for a number of new features since 3.0 RC: the most important two are: • Support for Stonestreet One Bluetopia stack Stonestreet One Bluetopia• Support for Simple Secure Pairing on Windows 7 BluetoothWin32AuthenticationA number of people have noted that BluetoothClient.Connect fails on newer Widcomm installations on desktop Windows; the problem being that SDP Service lookup doesn’t include the port number. Hopefully the problem is fixed with the new 32feetWidcomm.dll files in this release but I’ve had no reports back from users and I can’t reproduce the fault here.
